Options Recovery Services’ Board of Directors has released its FY 2021-2022 Annual Report, available at Options’ website. The report outlines information covering Option’s significantly expanded programs, finances, and achievements. The report is able to compare the overall success ratings of its clients in recovering from Substance Use Disorder, as compared to the average success ratings for all publicly-funded treatment programs throughout California. Options’ Executive Director Justin Phillips, LMFT, MAC, explains the results this way: “Options’ staff is increasingly committed to ensuring every client receives the best possible evidence-based care during their journey towards recovery. We are so very proud of our staff, programs and client successes. Well done all!”
At Options, clients are provided treatment and support services designed to best suit their needs at each point of their recovery. Clients are rated by their treatment team upon discharge as having successfully completed treatment when they and their treatment team determine that they have successfully reached the goals of their individual treatment plans. In FY 2021-2022, a total of 892 clients were discharged from treatment programs at Options. The chart below shows that Options’ clients received substantially higher success ratings (63% positive) than the overall ratings for their cohorts throughout the state (50% positive).
Clients at Options:
· 25% successfully completed substance use treatment
· 37% left before completion with satisfactory progress
· 37% left before completion with unsatisfactory progress
Clients at other substance use treatment programs statewide:

· 50% left before completion with unsatisfactory progress
A substantially higher percentage of Options’ clients (63%) received positive outcome ratings at discharge than their cohorts throughout the state (50%).
